Parents raise kids, not the state.

The USA supposedly  has a separation  of religion and state.

Yet public schools  have been teaching subjects that overlap religion.

Sex education is an example.

But even those who were teaching history or English imposed their views on us.

My eighth grade history teacher in Runkle school, Brookline Mass, year 1981, illustrated on the chalkboard that abortion is black and white in the first and third trimesters - in the first, it is completely okay to abort because the embryo “is like glue”.

The third trimester, well it is too late then, the fetus is practically a person. But the middle trimester is a gray area and is thus unclear whether abortion should happen in that second trimester.

No one in class raised any objection. I do not believe any parents called the principal and complained either on account of a pro life stance from conception, or for a longer time span of when it is supposedly okay to abort, or for something deeper - why was he even instructing students on this topic?

So we were told that the USA had separation of religion and state, yet teachers in public schools had free reign to touch upon topics that scripture and tradition deal with.

And no one stopped it, no one questioned it, no one even countered with the basic assumption and declared what we all should:

Parents raise children, not the state.

Was it "rape culture", or behavioral choices plus a uncontrolled college environment?

The following is truly an effort to empower, I am truly trying to help based on what I witnessed as a college student.

The liberal-left wants you to feel helpless. It wants you to feel that there is a system out there, lurking and huge and in your way and you need to smash it, but you will never succeed.

This keeps you in a state of constant tension, ready to spring, ready to riot, though if you are in a higher class of society then it keeps you ready to pounce in an activist fashion.

Always suspicious, ready to fight.

This weltanshaung decidedly does not teach you to preserve good values in a strong family and community  - nope, you are groomed to feel frustrated and hopeless.

Let’s take what has become known as “date rape” and “rape culture”.

If date rape was really happening because rape culture, or what later became known as “toxic masculinity”, then date rape would be happening to a certain random percentage of women in every strata and subculture of society.

But in college, I saw that it was not happening to women who believed in and were proactive in protecting their chastity.

I met these women in Middlebury college, 1986. For the first time I saw that there were women who were going to wait until marriage, and this belief they held in their behavior:

No late night parties.

No drinking alcohol while socializing.

No suggestive music or media. Should a song with a suggestive rhythm come on the radio, they switched the station fast.

These Christian women and men had a more reserved bearing about them. Some did not even dance.  They would only date lightly, that is, they would not get intimate with a partner.

When I conversed and even debated them, they remained respectful of my personal boundaries. (Disagree with a liberal, you are quickly branded a bigot, repressed, prejudiced, etc.)

The liberals scorned them behind their backs. They laughed at their devoted bible study and "sexual repression".

And that small group of Christians at Middlebury college, mid 1980’s, proved something liberal culture suppresses - chastity works.

For the first time, I saw that there is such thing as "chaste culture".

Then I found out that in the 1950's, women Middlebury  students dormed on the right side of the highway that cuts through the campus, men on the left (driving north), 11pm curfew every night with a midnight curfew on weekends, everyone had a roommate and dorm room doors were always open.

That was a sort of architectural and social chastity.  It would have been difficult to have an intimate relationship in such a setting.

In the 1980's students had private rooms with no roommate, no curfew, no supervision.

So it was not “rape culture” everywhere. It was a mini rape culture easily foiled by an opposing chaste-culture.

It amounted to personal choices and behavior, a college environment which allowed kids to let loose, combined with a victim mentality suspicious of some lurking looming "system", plus scorn for the chaste and the devout, that promoted rape culture.

 And nobody told you that.

Before considering becoming a liberal, consider - most will lose at this

Before becoming a liberal, consider this

Since for the liberal relativist, reality is constantly being invented, being liberal means you must be in fighting mode all the time, ready to assert, and listen only in order to gain an upper advantage over the other

This has real effects upon interpersonal interactions.

In sharp contrast, those who feel part of a chain of tradition, and who feel that truth is external, are markedly much more relaxed in their manner and much kinder inter-personally

Liberal thinking starts out seeming to be kind, and then ends up very much "tough on you".

Remember this well - only those near the purse strings can win at being liberal.

Most will lose at this

Here are some examples

 - Free sex means people will share the pleasure of affection without waiting until marriage

What really happens - breakups are more devastating than anyone anticipated. But instead of saying, hey wait a minute, we meant more love and affection, not terrible heartbreaks

The answer - "you are too sensitive"

Most will lose at this

- Free sex means more affection and love -  sounds good, but what about both women and men who brag to others about their exploits, even adding in how the one they rejected is very hurt, and instead of sympathizing with the rejected one, feeling proud that the rejector had the upper hand. Should you respond, “hey I can see that cheating on a boyfriend or girlfriend would be hurtful”, the response - don’t be so sensitive.

So we went from more love to - "don’t be so sensitive."

 Most will lose at this

- The group that calls itself women of the  (western) wall in Jerusalem claim to be offering more “alternatives” to Jewish religious expression. But they also say that the Western Wall in Jerusalem has no holiness. Should you complain that their loud singing, screeching, blowing kisses at the men, waving their so called “prayer books” in the air at the men are interfering with the religious womens’ ability to pray - well tough on the religious women.

So we went to - "here are more alternatives" - to: provocateur activity and a cynical and cruel “tough on you” attitude.

Most will lose at this

- Abortion rights were to deal with the rare times that an unplanned pregnancy occurs, and of course we must consider incest and rape. But then it became that abortion should be up to the point of birth, and when I pressed one friend about the humanity of the baby, she raised her voice and her face contorted: “tough on the baby! Tough on the baby!” she yelled

So we went from sympathy for the mistake to - tough on a full term baby minus five minutes.

Most women, never-mind the baby for now,  will lose at this

There is no one who is two or more generations liberal

It was a social experiment

And most lost at it
