Liberal Callousness: touch between men and women

"What's gonna happen, a rape?"

I was impressed by orthodox Jewish culture in which men and women refrain from touch until marriage, and that there is no handshaking between men and women.

This is called "shomer negia" - meaning "keeping from touch" and connoting refraining from touch.

Someone retorted the above to me, and callously.

That to me was a sign of the callousness of liberal culture.

Liberals do not promote interpersonal sensitivitiy. They groom activism, which necessitattes assertiveness, aggressiveness, standing up for oneself, pushing agendas.

If you are around liberals your borders will be crossed. That is liberal culture, because they are constantly grooming for activism.

This is the exact opposite of inter-personally sensitive interactions - which are an anathema to the project of constant activism, of having the right quip at the right time because liberals base their world view on off handed comments at social situations, so they must be tough and ready and quick tongued.

Thus if a traditionalist or conservative walks into a social situation, the liberal must oppose, and even callously, sometimes in a pre-emptive strike before you even have a chance to sit in your chair or say hello.

They cannot possibly be sensitive to things as subtle as handshakes between men and women and how touch can really feel. Watch footage of Joe Biden fondling young girls when he was VP and swearing in newly elected senators. No one could stop him, because they had been desensitized, calloused.

You could prevent this by just keeping girls and boys separate as a matter of course.

There are orthodox women doctors, lawyers, scientists, politicians, a pilot, an Olympic potential runner, and now a judge in New York.

You can refrain from touch and still achieve.

What is more, you need not be callous. You can be aware of subtleties.
