When the goal is to create change through social discord, that is Marxist dialectic.
Marxist dialectic is the hallmark of socialism and communism. It has found its way into the liberal camp of late. It produces a tiny elite, and most will suffer from it.
But many think they can be a part of that elite. Most cannot, because elite positions are by definition limited.
The pretense is that there is a goal to the activism, so activists engage to achieve that goal.
But then the goal posts change. You have now entered Marxist dialectic in which the goal is actually constant discord and flux, toppling the establishment of the day to be replaced by another establishment that will be toppled tomorrow
The naive fought for a cause and then themselves were toppled, they are bewildered that now they tables are turned on them.
You are not likely to float to the top and be in control of such activism. Marxist dialectic boasts few leaders, and many who find themselves pushed aside after having devoted themselves to such and such a cause, they are out in the cold. Bewildered, they cannot grasp what happened to them.
What happened is that they were pawns in Marxist dialectic. They were never going to reap the benefits of the revolution they thought they were waging.
Here is an example. A fair minded person can be for abortion rights, even if they are not comfortable with abortion. These rights were achieved, up until fetal viability. Most people could live with this.
Done.
There is no reason for abortion for gender selection! No reason up until birth!
Now, leftists are pushing something that even avid pro-choicers wince at.
Reasonable people supported legal access to abortion, even those whose conscience it pricked.
Leftists swooped in and have now created a fight for abortion up until the point of birth, which even their former supporters are defecting from.
But such defection pleases Leftist activists, as that creates a larger battleground.
They are in it for the fight.
You are likely to be one of their victims.
Resist it.
