Trump's Sea Change

Trump began a sea change that will not cease with his presidency; he questioned basic assumptions that have taken hold in American society that should have been rejected long ago.

He challenged the elitism of the Democrats, declaring that putting American businesses and jobs first is more important that the elitist globalization that liberals tout - liberals pretend to be open minded, but really are just aligning with elitists in other countries.

I know, I grew up liberal.

President Trump cares about poor Americans and the working class, whereas liberals care about exotic people in other countries, thus jettisoning responsibility for one’s American neighbor.

He is empowering people from all strata to work hard and reap the benefits of one's efforts in a capitalist and free market system, a challenge to the culture of victim mentality that is so prevalent in liberal society today. This has included prison reform.

Prison reform was his statement that everyone can use his or her potential for the good, that the down and out can rise above their mistakes and achieve. But liberals like victims and sneered at Trump's prison reform. This kind of liberal sneering at what should have been a liberal cause serves as yet another wake up call - liberals are not liberal.

President Trump valiantly declared a pro-life position that even most pro-choicers prefer - no abortion after the unborn child can feel pain.

At a UN conference in 2019, President Trump called for the de-criminalization of homosexuality world wide. This sent a shock wave among traditionalists; he has softened traditionalists' stance on homosexuality - the Bible may forbid it, but gays need not be persecuted. Again, Trump wants everyone working at his or her top functioning, gays included.

I blink away tears as I write about the Abraham Peace Accords in which President Trump brokered peace deals between Israel and the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco. We cannot thank him enough for this, here in Israel. He moved the Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, looks like that really did soften the environment here and prepare this region for peace.

We cannot comprehend the horrors that exist in China right now, it is slowly coming out that the Uighurs, Muslims of Turkish origin, are being persecuted for their faith, abortion and sterilization is being forced upon Uighur women, children are separated from their parents and put into communist kindergartens to unlearn their traditions and be brainwashed, grieving for their lost parents all the while!

But why did we not protest when the majority Han population was being pressured to have only one child to the point of forced abortions? Because us enlightened liberals had been conditioned to think that only white people are racist, that all evil stemmed from European colonialism, so we could not recognize evil when perpetrated by non-white peoples.

In Maxine Hong Kingston's excellent books, "The Woman Warrior" and "China Man", she writes that Chinese culture has traditionally viewed non Chinese as "ghosts", as not human. Perhaps this is why the Chinese government suppressed telling the world about the covid 19, maybe non-whites can be racist as well, maybe their racism is the deadliest form. But - the liberal holds that only whites are racist.

We forgot how to recognize evil. We forgot to judge by the content of one's character. President Trump remembered!

In a world of political correctness in which people are afraid to speak, President Trump began momentum that others ran with - Trump is not a man of words, he was unable to articulate his positions in a polished enough manner, but so what? This is a reflection of his sincerity. Others drew from his strength - Diamond and Silk, Candace Owens, Brandon Straka, Brandon Tatum, Kanye West, are noteworthy activists who have articulated what president Trump began.

While liberals bow to rioters and violence that they declare to be "understandable", usually declaring this from their posh homes, President Trump feels the pain of the small business owner and homeowner whose livelihoods and neighborhoods have been vandalized, all supported by a liberal ideology that believes that “victims” have the right to loot. It is liberals who are actually prejudicial in this regard. Liberals think that they can attend college, make something of themselves, but that those pitiable people of color and residents of third world countries just cannot manage and need liberals to save them. That is neocolonialism and racist.

President Trump believes that all people can maximize their potential and put their talents to good use. That is the ultimate non-racist stance - you can achieve, no matter your circumstances.

President Trump expects every leader to help his or her people. Liberals are really the racists in declaring that all must flee to a border-free USA, basically liberals are assuming that Latin Americans are incapable of correct governance, right? Persecution is oh so natural south of the Mexican border - that liberal attitude is racist. Again, liberals are declaring this open-border policy from behind locked doors and zoned neighborhoods - zoning IS a wall.

Trump has insisted that world leaders also put their own countries first, as he does. This is correct nationalism - loving your neighbor.

In his support for school vouchers, President Trump challenged the idea that American children must be at the mercy of indoctrination in the public school system.

The storming of the Capitol, January 6 2021, was a tragic end to the above, and at times men must fall, as the Word of God anticipates, but President Trump did not call for violence that day, and that too must be remembered
